There has been extensive research conducted on one of the greatest threats of our generation: mental health illness. We have learned that it has claimed many lives, destroyed families, and that many individuals continue to suffer from this affliction. We give God the glory for the significant amount of research undertaken to date and for the counselling programmes provided to help combat this illness. Some have found freedom, while others are still on their healing journey; yet, some remain subject to this condition.

This book is truly transformational, as God has also spoken on this subject. Remember that He is all-knowing and desires His children, the body of Christ, to serve Him freely, unburdened by this yoke of slavery. The Lord has revealed much about this condition, its roots, and has provided structured deliverance guidelines in accordance with His word, emphasising the importance of maintaining that deliverance to prevent the illness from re-entering the mind.

In summary, the mind is a spiritual element of the body that informs the brain on what to think and shapes the brain’s habits. Thus, we learn that the brain is a by-product of the mind. When we were far from God, we were subject to the spirit of the god of this world, Satan, whose spirit is at work in all those who are distant from the Lord God, as written in 2 Corinthians 4:4
