About The Author
Meshack Van Wyk is born in Kliptown on the 26th September 1961. He was raised under very poor conditions. In spite of these adverse conditions, he managed to complete his schooling.
He then married Lorraine on the 8th October 1983. Three Children were born out of this marriage, Candice, Crystal & Curtis.
He started his ministry as an Evangelist in 1987 and worked in that capacity until May 1992.In August 1992.
Dr Meshack is an ordained Minister since 1993 and is the Founder, Shepherd and Moderator of a church called Harvestime Evangelical Ministries with the headquarters in Eldorado Park Johannesburg.
He has obtained theological and counselling qualifications. He also holds qualifications for Conciliation, Trauma Debriefing, Peace Building, Reconcilliation, Community Justice, Conflict Resolution & Mediation, Bachelor of Theology, Bachelor of Ministry, Masters in Theology, Doctorate in Theology, and a Doctorate of Divinity.
He has given lectures on Marriage, Parent & Child Relationships, Crisis Intervention Counselling, Pathology & Counselling Techniques, and Trauma Counselling.
His secular world qualifications include Industrial Relations, Industrial Psychology, Management and Marketing Management.
Dr Van Wyk Theologian, counsellor & Lecturer is also the Managing Director of “HOPE” (Helping Other People Emotionally) a non-profit organization in Eldorado park, Jhb specializing in Counselling.
He is registered with the Counsel for Counsellors in SA as a Counsellor in the category Counselling & Training. He is a member of the Association of Christian Counsellors in SA, the Christian Dispute Resolution, and the International Association for Theophostic Ministry.
